Dr. Sarolta Szabo is a board-certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon. Her special interests and expertise include the prevention and treatment of skin cancer and the use of minimally invasive therapies for cosmetic enhancement. Dr. Szabo has a great deal of experience treating skin cancer with both surgical and non-surgical therapies. In addition to performing full-body skin cancer screening for her patients, she uses an experienced eye to diagnose and treat a wide variety of skin abnormalities, including acne and rosacea.
Dr. Szabo is a sought-after provider for dermatologic and anti-aging treatments due to her reputation and standard of excellence in all areas of dermatology. With extensive experience, she provides patients with the utmost precision in her use of BOTOX® Cosmetics, dermal fillers, and her care of sun damaged skin. Taking the necessary time to counsel and educate her patients on their treatment options, Dr. Szabo seeks the optimal outcome for each individual.
Dr. Szabo was born and raised in Szeged, Hungary. She graduated cum laude from the Medical School, University of Szeged in 1995. She finished as number 12 of her medical school class. During her Medical School years she received multiple very distinguished and competitive awards for clinical and research rotation from European Union countries such as England, Germany, Sweden, Greece, and Portugal.
Dr. Szabo completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She received many distinguished awards during her residency, including one from the National Institute of Health. She also received an award of excellence in dermatopathology at the annual meeting of the American Society for Dermatopathology. During her final year of residency, she was appointed to the leadership role of Academic Chief Resident.

Dr. Szabo conducted two years of basic dermatological research and two years of clinical research at Case Western in Cleveland. During that time, she participated as co-investigator in more than 15 clinical trials. As an experienced researcher, Dr. Szabo is a published author of scientific journals and textbooks. In addition, she is a national lecturer and a reviewer of peer-reviewed professional dermatology publications, including the Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
She stays up-to-date on all the latest advancements in the field of dermatology by receiving over 30 to 40 hours of continuing education per year, and stays current in therapeutics and technologies by attending local and national meetings. She maintains active memberships in numerous prestigious professional organizations such as the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, National Psoriasis Foundation, and remains active with the Colorado Dermatologic Society and the Colorado Medical Society. Dr. Szabo volunteers with the American Academy of Dermatology providing annual skin cancer screenings in the south Denver metro area.
